The novels about "the Cooperation Movement" occupy an important position in the "Seventeen years" literature, which are an essential part for the research of literatures in this period. And the novels of Shuli Zhao fully present the development of "the Cooperation Movement", especially his literary creations after 1949. He published a series of novels and political comments based on his own personal experiences, his independent thought and value judgment, which has a deep influence on the movement and the cultural studies in that time. This paper consists of two chapters in order to research the narration of "the Cooperation Movement" in Shuli Zhao’s novels. In the first chapter his magnum opus San Li Wan, which mainly describes the early period of that movement, is regarded as the primary object to study. He divides peasants into advanced and less developed two different opposite classes. Through the conflict and interaction between two classes Shuli Zhao indicates the irresistible trend of the Cooperation Movement and his personal affirmation and praise for that movement. And this narrative structure in the novel has been inherited and developed by the later writers as a master of the "Cooperation Movement" narration. At the same time, he shapes characters adhering to the realism all the time, even for the new generation in the socialism. There is no excessive exaggeration, whitewash and he doesn’t fantasy the relationship among the peasants according to the ideology. Therefore his literary style is thriving in literary circle in that period. The second chapter focuses on his literary creation in the later period of "the Cooperation Movement" In this stage he struggled hard in the creation of literatures. Even his implicit expression and the no fully expressible meaning are attacked by different forces. The serious political situation forces Shuli Zhao to abandon the writing gradually. The suffering and hesitation in his innerworld makes his work begin to go from bad to worse as well. In the stage besides of the literary creation his many political dynamics and speeches are also significant targets to discuss. His lofty characters and outstanding integrity are highlighted through the investigation and literatures compilation for his later life, especially in the period of "the Rectification Movement".
