The Construction Of Beautiful Countryside From The Perspective Of Environmental Aesthetics

To construct beautiful countryside is our common pursuit and it is also included in the effort of contruction of beautiful China. Howerver, until recently, countryside has been going downhill, and the sentiment of "homesickness" has been fermenting. In the construction of countryside, we only pursue urbanization of countryside, and gradually neglect the emotional needs of people. Therefore, with the acceleration of urbanization, countryside gradually becomes a place of leisure and recreation for people from cities. In this situation, countryside is nothing but an object of observation in aesthetic acitivity. It exists in the camera of travellers from outside and therefore, there always exists a relationship of viewing and being viewed.Environmental aesthetics, a discipline beginning from 70’s, highlights perception and involvement whole heartedly in the process of aesthetic activity. It emphasizes the sentiment of homeland and harmony of human and nature in the construction of countryside. And it also pays attention to the feelings of local residents. Environmental aesthetics provides us with a brand new perspective and theoretical guidance for us to appreciate countryside aesthetically and construct our countryside. Cultivating a view of environmental aesthetics in the construction ofcountryside, can impart the culture of countryside, make our countryside homeland which we depend on for existence a better place, and achieve harmonious development of human and nature.This dissertation, based on the relevance theories of environmental aesthetics, approaches the related issues about the construction of beautiful countryside. The beginning of this dissertation is introduction.Introduction, elaborates the research background, objective and importance, research status and research techniques of this dissertation; the first chapter explains where is the beauteousness of countryside and the declining and submerging of countryside at present stage;The second chapter focus on the beauteousness of countryside in the eyes of e nvironmental aestheticians. the third chapter discusses the ways of construction of our beautiful countryside with the guidance of theories of environmental aesthetics.the last chapter is the summary.
