1980s Chinese art is a huge turning point, "85 Thoughts" campaign is an unprecedented tremendous response artistic movement, many Chinese artists began to learn from the West. Experimental ink in this context came into being.Gu Wenda is the 1980 s experimental ink leader, he passed on the traditional Chinese character deconstruction and reconstruction, in order to create an image of text-based ink experiment, then there is created a number of ink art installations.
