Shi Shuo Xin Yu is a novel collection wrote by Liu Yi Qing.The book is close to the spoken language at that time.The Northern and Southern Dynasties is the dawn of expression of Chinese tense.Based on this book, studying the expression of tense is to show the more specifically detailed descriptions of expression of tense about this novel in order to reveal its characteristics,and to explore its development.Moreover, we hope that through the investigation of this paper we can reflect the state of the Chinese language in the Northern and Southern Dynasties from one side of the North and South Korea in the early stage of expression.Based on hot topics in the study of the expression of tense about Chinese,we research the condition on the Chinese early expression of tense,this paper mainly divides into the following aspects:The first part of the article researches the expressions of time that mainly use two means to express :the time words and with reference to time.Time words can be divided into two methods of time nouns and adverbs, reference time is relied on words that indicate it and is based on background events; The second part is studying the expression of tense,this period is the early time of this expression that did not have the fixed format as same as modern Chinese.The expression of tense can use verb and fixed format to show. This can be split into conveying completion,experience,future,starting; The third part studies the expression of co-occurrence, this paper mainly discussed the time expressions and posture expression that are showing at the same time and posture expression between post.Through the study we find: about time expressions,we have said "morning" "noon" and " night " in modern Chinese,but this book only has " morning " and " night";We use "spring" "summer" "autumn" and "winter" to express the four seasons in modern Chinese,but this book mainly use the "spring" "summer" "autumn" "winter" connecting to a "month" in order to show four seasons, "winter" is solo used in two places in the book.According to "the winter" used of time expressions, class launched the "spring" "summer" and "autumn" can also be used in this format became the now being used expressions in modern Chinese expression of the four seasons; About posture expressions, "zhe" "le" "guo" used as the confirmed way are formed in the modern Chinese,in this book, "le" is the verbal expressing "complete", "v + x" and "x + v" format are mainly used to express posture expression in the book, especially the format of "v+ x" is to be seen as Chinese body when the expression of early status.So in this book,the expression of tense is the early form of Chinese body category.
