Male Charater’s Presence And Absence

This article selects Mongolian film in the century as the object of study, taking cultural interpretation of the male character in those films. The male character’s absence and presence could be proved by the decadent male image as well frustrate status in the film. This article gives interpret from the aspects of collective unconsciousness and individual psychology. There are three main parts:introduction, principal parts and conclusion.Introduction presents the current research status and prove the research value of the male character’s absence in Mongolian film. Research object and research method are included. Principal parts are consisted of three sections, the first section divides the male image into three types:’looser’,’sick’ and ’master’, and inspects those roles carefully. The second section deeply analysis the male male character between men and women in gender relations such as’power and weakness’,’rescue and rescued’ and’face and escape’have been formalized. Women character takes up the central role and the male character moves from the center to the edge of role. The third section deeply interprets the absence of male character which is a kind of phenomemon of spirit missing, and interprets the underlying reason which causes this phenomemon from aspects such as change of time, development of modernization, culture psychology of nation collective and so on.The conclusion indicates that it is not accidental event that the emergent of absence of male character in modern Mongolian film, it is caused by both external reasons such as social factors and unconscious of whole nation collective and internal reason such as individual anxiety due to the development of modernization.
