Urad, located on the Hetao Plain and Urad prairie, is next to Baotou City to the east and Alashan County to the west. It is to the north of Ordos with the Yellow River running between them and borders on Mongolia to the north.Experts have always held the opinion that there are differences among native Urad languages spoken by the three banner counties because of its geological location. Therefore, this thesis mainly focuses on Urad vowels system of the three banner counties and manages to find out differences of pronunciation of Urad vowels of the three banner counties through acoustic research method.This thesis has five parts as in introduction, the chapter One, the chapter Two, the chapter Three and conclusion.The introduction demonstrates the research significance, related research situation, researcher contents and important information of the established Urad Subdialects Vowels Acoustic Parameter Database.In Chapter One, respectively analysis has been made of short vowels from initial syllables vowels and non-initial syllables of native Urad which spoken by the three banner counties to discovery their differences in order to study on the variations of short vowels through acoustic research method.In Chapter Two, respectively analysis has been made of long vowels from initial syllables vowels and non-initial syllables of native Urad spoken by the three banner counties to discovery their differences in order to study on the variations of long vowels through acoustic research method.In Chapter three, this thesis analyzed compounded reasons of dynamic variations of native Urad that spoken by the three banner counties through acoustic research method.In the conclusion, results of analysis of vowels form native Urad has been summarized through acoustic research method.
