Ji kang is a great poet during the Wei and Jin dynasties, his poem occupies an important place in the history of Chinese literature, especially the achievements of four-word poem. Hu Yinglin said that Ji Kang’s four-word poem open the portal of the Jin and Song dynasties. He created a new time of four-word poem after the Book of Songs, Ji Kang’ four-word poem also has an inseparable relationship with the Book of Songs. Understanding Chi Kang’ four-word poem inheritance relationship with the Book of Songs, can be more comprehensive understanding of its development, at the same time can find Ji Kang’ four-word poem pioneering innovation, in contrast to better study of his poem.Paper is divided into five parts. The introduction part is an overview of research status of Ji Kang’s poem after 20th century and specify them. The first part briefly introduce its history of development, from the age of the Book of Songs and the Book of Songs after age, then discusses the content and features of each stage, each phase of the achievements, so as to explore the four-word poem at each stage of the inheritance and innovation of the Book of Songs. The second part mainly discusses the inheritance of the Book of Songs in Ji Kang’ four-word poem, including the poetic style, grammar, words, composition, expression and image. The third part mainly discusses the innovation of the Book of Songs in Ji Kang’ four-word poem, including language, content, technique of expression, thoughts, images and other angles. The last part mainly discusses the contradiction of Ji Kang’ thought in his poem, thus discusses Ji Kang’s unique literary achievements.
