The Variorum Of The "Yue Ming" Of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips

"Tsinghua University’s collection of the Warring States Bamboo slips (Ⅲ)"(《清华大学藏战国竹简(叁)》)was published by Zhongxi Book Company in December, 2012. "Yue Ming" (《说命》) (also known as "the order to Fuyue" (《传说之命》))is one part of the slips. "Yue Ming" (《说命》)was divided into three parts,the upper,the middle and lower parts. It is an ancient literature which has lost for more than two thousand years, the main content is about that the kings of the Shang dynasty nanmed Wuding who send someone to find good minister Fuyue, and then warned Fuyue try his best to help him govern the country. The content is completely different with "Yue Ming" (《说命》) of the Pseudo-classical "Shang Book" (《尚书》)which appears in The Eastern Jin Dynasty. It proved once again that the handed down Pseudo-classical "Shang Book" (《尚书》)is a pseudograph by the future generations, and will have a profound impact on the study of Chinese academic history. This article also has important significance on literature to read,it can confirm with the literature handed down from ancient times, such as "Liji" (《礼记》),"Mengzi"(《孟子》), "Mozi" (《墨子》), "Guoyu" (《国语》)and so on.It also provides valuable materials for scholars to the further research on the style structure of "Ming" (命)"Yue Ming" (《说命》)is organized and noted by Li Xueqin, it attrcked the interest of scholars in such aspects as explaining the ancient characters, confirming literature and historical significance. Now we collect and organize all the textual views of scholars, and then write "The Variorum of the ’Yue Ming’ of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips" (《清华简<说命>集释》),on the basis of the textual research of the characters, comprehensiving various claims, and trying to solve the problems about text interpretation, word explaination and sentence punctuation and so on. In addition,we strive for breakthroughs on the basis of previous studies, try to put forward some new views for the misinterpretation or no-interpretation of the characters, to provide convenience and reference for subsequent studies.The main structure of this paper is:The first part is "Preface", introduce the current condition, main content and significance or value of research of Yue Ming" (《说命》)；The second part is "Research Summary", systematically summarize and classify describe the academic achievements in recent years to "Yue Ming" (《说命》)in the interpretation of words, Punctuation of sentences, and the literature confirmation.The third part is "Variorum",in the first we array the original words, add explanation, and then enumerate the main points which we has collected of scholars on the article, at last we state our own judgment and opinions in the form of note;The last part is "conclusion", conclude and summarize the character features of "Yue Ming" (《靓命》)and rethink the inadequacy of the paper.
