As the most basic part in training chorus, movement is employed by many kinds of patterns for one hundred years almost(should start figuring from Orff-Schulwerk was developed) in western countries with advanced music education. These countries had attempted and probed into the creativity of movement’s development in early 60’s-70’s. It includes the rhythm patterns, bounding with other art, how to fuel growth on psychology and physiology etc. This article will give a brief introduction of the research.Nowadays, movement is combined with native ethnic song and dance in countries. The fertile teaching content, the way of teaching, the experiences and the achievement aroused my interest in developing our own national rhythm training in China. In my choir’s training, I especially use the pulse training in basic period. I used to start promoting sensibility and creativity of choir members’ music feelings by establishing multi-part rhythm and listening. This article will give the explanation of native attempts and achievements by way of illustration.
