Agnes Heller is the main representative of neo-Marxism of Eastern European. From basic humanism standpoint, she made a unique interpretation with the post-modern view for Marxist Class theory, Need theory and Human Liberation.Radical Philosophy is the starting point of Heller’s "Human Liberation" theory. By the construction of Radical Philosophy, Heller breaks the theoretical framework of Marxist tradition, and seeks the way to realize the human liberation. To this end, she is opposed to the traditional Marist teleology default, advocating philosophical criticism should be undertaken based on the realities of situation, and everyone has the right to show their own opinion in the discussion of philosophical value as a rational existence. Radical Need is both important to Heller’s revolutionary theory and the Human Liberation theory. Heller acknowledged that Need is generated from the existing social system, and all the needs that can’t be satisfied in capitalist productive relationships can be called Radical Need. From the post-modern polybasic perspective, Heller recognized that the needs that can’t be realized in capitalist society are not only existing in the Working Class, hence she advocated motivating all classes in society to meet the whole society’s need by the way of radical democracy. How to develop Marxist "human liberation "theory is the core issue of Radical Philosophy. Heller’s research on Human Liberation reflects her post-modern tendency. She stressed on individual liberation against Marx’s Class doctrine, she insist the way to realize the liberation of individual is radical democracy. The "radical democracy" that she insist on is a more relaxed way to carry out, a bottom-up one, everyone can show his own opinion, all the radical need can be meet, respecting diverse values.Heller study the Human Liberation theory of Marx from humanism standpoint and individual dimension, though enriched Marx’s Human Liberation theory to a certain extent, her standpoint on post-modern and humanism decided her theory can’t beyond Marxist theory.
