The emergence of Internet is bringing us an easy, fast and inexpensive way of communication, which is reshaping human beings’ economic and social activities, and even changing the code of ethics. In this internet era, cyberethics has become an important branch of contemporary applied ethics research. Especially the increasing popularity of social networking provides more in-depth possibilities and directions for cyberethics research.Momo is a social networking app having swift popularity through internet. Momo-type networking is easy, convenient and affordable for college students. However, it is inevitable that a small number of college students may misbehave when using such social networking tools. Under such practical and theoretical background, this thesis approaches certain phenomena from the perspective of cyberethics, intending to analyze and correct users’ behaviors of Momo among college students.This thesis has four main chapters. The first chapter explains the significance of the subject, and the aim, contents, and study approaches of this research. The second chapter explores why social networking such as Momo is widely accepted and the two sides of college users’ behavior. The third chapter analyzes the phenomena and causes of Momo forfeited cyberethics, and elaborates five major causes of college users’ misbehavior:The anonymous feature of Momo, the absence of new media education, immaturity of related laws and regulations, lack of regulations in colleges, and a reflection of social problems in cyberspace. Based on the theoretical analysis of this article, the fourth chapter proposes possible solutions for current cyberethics problems, which is the coordinated efforts by government, universities and colleges, families and individuals. This multi-level cooperation is the key to solve problem.
