On The Narrative Imagery Of Tujia Novels Since The New Era

Tujia novels are the important implements of the Chinese ethnic minority literature and have a certain impact at home and abroad. Many scholars pay a lot of attention on national character and non-government character. Which contain in Tujia novels,while ignore the systematic interpretation using the theory of narratology and aesthetics on Tujia novels since the new era. This thesis tries to use the theory of narratology and aesthetics to interpret Tujia novels systematically and we divide the imagery which contained in Tujia novels into color imagery, folk imagery, myth imagery, and character imagery. This thesis focuses on analysis of important narrative function of imagery which contained in dredging passage context, cohering novels theme as well as increasing poetic concentration. It also deeply expounds that the spirit of Tujia culture, nationalities deadweight and ecological ideality contains in imagery.This thesis includes three parts.Introduction embraces the cause of this study and the literature review of research achievement both at home and abroad. In this way, the meaning of this thesis will be manifested.The main part of this thesis contains three chapters. Chapter one summarizes the classification standard of imagery given by educational circles, and then divides the narrative imagery which contained in into color imagery, folk imagery, myth imagery,and character imagery.Chapter two divides the function of narrative imagery in Tujia novels into dredging passage context, cohering novels theme as well as increasing poetic concentration,and then makes a concrete analysis of their impact on narrative effects as well as artistic value of Tujia novels.Chapter three combines with the narrative imagery contained in Tujia novels since the new era in order to deeply expounds the spirit of Tujia culture, nationalities deadweight and ecological ideality contains in imagery.The conclusion analyzes the cause of prosperity of Tujia novels, summarizes its achievements and shortcomings, predicts future trends and points out the innovation and significance of this thesis.
