As so far the only one who win the Nobel Prize for literature in the Chinese writer, Mo Yan is famous for his unique style and widely popular with readers and literary workers, in his numerous works, the female image occupies the important position, even some people think that Mo Yan’s works present a phenomenon of Yin flourishes while Yang declines. Mo Yan depicts all kinds of female images, such as Shangguan Lushi, Dai Fenglian, Sun Meiniang, Zi Jing, aunts and so on, each image can readers has been etched deeply in heart, he is good at describing women from manysides, especially good at performance through suffering female personality characteristics and life consciousness, and men and women in Mo Yan’s suffering writing often presents different characteristics.This article combine Mo Yan’s novel writing "suffering" and "gender", the combination of trying to find out the sex differences in suffering writing in his works, and analyze the causes of such differences. Because there is so much works, this article selects the "Red Sorghum Clan", "Big breasts and Wide hips" and " Frog " the three representative works as the main object of analysis, in addition also involves mo yan representative female images in other works.Thesis is divided into three chapters, the first chapter analysis of Mo Yan’s novel suffering gender differences, respectively from the physical suffering of gender differences and sex differences in mental suffering in combination with relevant text analysis, the conclusion is both physically and mentally, women suffering more often than men. The second chapter analyzes the gender of the state of the differences in their trouble, and respectively by Dai Fenglian, Shangguan Lushi, "aunt" as the representative of "frog" is analyzed, and corresponding to the work of men in the state of suffering. Represented by Dai Fenglian of women’s human nature, the characteristics of free and easy, and the men and at the same time shows the characteristics of "degradation"; Above officer corns as a representative of women is the mother image of massiness, compared with the corresponding men lowlife cowardice; "Aunt" this image and there is a big difference of the two, because the main life after liberation, Mo Yan for her portrayal of focused on family planning period, the misery of her performance in the spiritual reflection of pain, but in reflection and redemption of the self consciousness of main body in the back, and at the same time of men’s clean-cut, false pretensions of image. Paper third chapter through the first two chapters on sex differences in misery and suffering in the state of the analysis of the gender difference, from the perspective of cultural identity to find the cause of the differences, and with Dai Fenglian, Shangguan Lushi and "aunt" three image represented by three times to give priority to analysis, the conclusion simply summed up as, the cause of the differences exist in the women’s self-identity cultural identity, attempt of deconstruction and beyond.Gender differences, Mo Yan clear attitude itself is not the expression, through the work of the paper is aimed at suffering writing to explore gender differences and the reasons.
