The Employment Situation Investigation Of University Graduates In Music Performance In Henan Province

Employment of college graduates has been deeply concerned by the community, since 1999 the domestic college expand enrollment,no matter it is a comprehensive university or teacher colleges are gradually opened art majors, music major is warming rapidly under this big context. Opening music performance major mainly to cultivate high singing, playing skills, and train people to have some knowledge of music theory and make some music talent with good music quality into performances or education. However the job demand is limited, combined with its small range of careers, counterparts professional music employment channels become saturated. Now under the situation that employment is very grim, employment situation of music majors have caused a lot of attention in the community.In this thesis,the author first surveyed employment situation about 2013 graduates major in music performance of the three province-level college in Henan Province and did some detailed questionnaire about employment, switch jobs, education, business and other parts among some music major graduation students. Conducted7 a series of statistical analysis;secondly, after investigation on the graduates employment status, the author also communicated with graduate employment units in the form of telephone interviews or discussion,Aiming at having a clear understanding of the demand and requirements what music professionals employer need under current social.which summed up the problem what we need facing during the processing of training music perform major talents by the universities in Henan Province. Basis on all these and combining the characteristic of school education, have analyzed and studied the reason and solutions to this problem.hope to provide some constructive suggestions to improve the employment situation of music major graduates.
