This thesis paper is a description of the micro-film, 《mermaid》.Introduction part introduces the movie’s creative background and present situation of the domestic and foreign films by the method of "Metaphor" and "Montage" status as well as the main contents, purpose and methods.Chapter II introduces creative processing of the film 《mermaid》 by the directors perspective:early preparation, mid-term filming and late description of editing works explained in detail as well as the explanation of all students co-works in the team.Chapter III introduces how to use the method of "Metaphor" and "Montage", atmosphere relationship returned to the author of this piece the essence of the film.Based on the processing of the filming works, this thesis paper is not long enough to explain the details of that. However, it can be expressed an accurate record of the film in the creation of want to think about work and relations of cultural background and innermost feelings.
