Guang Weiran is famous in modern Chinese literary history as the writer of "Big Chorus of Yellow River". His literary creation began in 1935, and when the Anti-Japanese war not fully broke out, he had created a widely sung named "May flowers", which made him earn his spurs in literary firmament. Guang Weiran made a contribution to the Anti-Japanese War literature with his rich and varied literary creation. His literary creation truly and objectively reflected the reality of China during the war, and also faithfully recorded the fluctuation of sensitive mind as a writer. These creation substantially achieved the consolidation of literary and political, which had literary significance.This article focuses on Guang Weiran’s several important literary creation during Anti-Japanese War. By scrutinizing these works and unifing the socially history criticism method, to dig out the deep meaning of these texts in aesthetics and to study the significance of his writing in the history of Anti-Japanese literature.The thesis consists of three parts. The introduction part mainly explains the reasons of adoption of "Guang Weiran" to organize the text and describes the origin of Guang Weiran’s literary creation during the Anti-Japanese war.Chapter one to chapter three are the body part. Chapter one carding Guang Weiran’s activities and creation of dramas in the early days of the war, including drama movement and scripts during student period and the efforts and promotion of street plays, which are his consciously literature selection based on different stages and different social reality. Chapter two mainly discusses Guang Weiran’s lyric writings. His lyrics range from the lyrics to inspire the morale of military and the national epic called national epic of civilian of "Big Chorus of Yellow River", which were not only to meet the needs of the war, but also were the result of the continuous improvement of the poet’s own creation. Chapter three mainly discusses Guang Weiran’s poetry creation in the 1940’s. There are obvious characteristics of stages in his poetry creation. From active participation in Chongqing’s "poetry movement", vigorously creating recite poetry to self-expression lyrics to translate sort folk poem, which not only closely reflected the reality, but also showed the artistic individuality and the pursuit of independence.The concluding part expounds the significance of Guang Weiran’s literary creation during the Anti Japanese War in the perspective of age, history of literature, and his personal creative life.
