| In modern Chinese, location words are categorized as a type of noun, playing an important role in daily communication. With regard to the Teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language, location words are not a key instructional point, but also a point of difficulty for students during the acquisition process. This dissertation is focused on the four location words that are used most frequently within the Chinese language acquisition process:Shang(上)Xia(下)Li(里)and Wai(外).Based upon previous research, in conjunction with our teaching experience, we designed a research questionnaire and engaged in research on the acquisition of Chinese location words among Laotian students.This dissertation takes cognitive linguistics as a base while summarizing and organizing the pure meaning and abstract meaning of the location words Shang(上)Xia(下)Li(里)and Wai(外),as well as pointing out the effect of the emergence & ellipsis of location word problems on Chinese as a Second Language. Based on the error analysis, we engaged in a detailed summary of all kinds of errors made by Laotian students in the process of location word acquisition. Through statistical analysis, we find bias the students can be classified as misusing,incorrectly added,missing and wrong sequence, there have some deep analyze on it. On this basis, this paper put forth suggestions regarding the writing and improvement of study materials, as well as the improvement of in-class instruction abilities and the use of instructional methods. |
