Since the late 1980 s, ongoing migrant workers wave trigger China’s largest population flow. Global economic crisis in 2008 led to migrant workers returning home. The tide has led to migrant workers returning home to start-ups, which promoting economic growth, institutional innovation and the integration of urban and rural areas.Flowing direction of migrant workers caused extensive academic discussion.However, empirical researches about migrant workers’ entrepreneurial intention of returning to hometown were less, and the influencing factors and internal mechanism were not revealed.To extend previous studies, this study explored how job demands and entrepreneurial resourcesinfluence entrepreneurial returning to hometown and the mediation mechanism and boundary conditions. Specifically, this paper included the following two studies: In the firststudy, we utilized logistic regression to measure how job demands and entrepreneurial resourcesinfluence entrepreneurial returning to hometown of migrant workers. Data was collected from 176 migrant workers who come from Shandong, Anhui, Zhejiang and other places.Due to logistic regression cannot further explore the influence mechanism, we used structured questionnaire method to explore mediation mechanism and boundary conditions between job demands, entrepreneurial resources and entrepreneurial intention of ret urning to hometown in the second study. Data was collected from 336 migrant workers in Shandong, Anhui and Zhejiang province. Examine the relationship between job demands,entrepreneurial resources and entrepreneurial intention of returning to hometown, and also explore the mediation of job burnout, entrepreneurial commitment and the moderation of generation. The conclusions are as follows:(1) Job demands and entrepreneurial resources predicted entrepreneurial returning to hometown.(2) Job demands and entrepreneurial resources can positively predict entrepreneurial intention of returning to hometown.(3) Job burnout can mediate the relationship between job demands and entrepreneurial intention of returning to hometown; Entrepreneurial commitment can mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial resources and entrepreneurial intention of returning to hometown.(4) Generation moderated the relationship between job burnout and entrepreneurial intention of returning to hometown positively; and moderated the relationship between entrepreneurial commitment and entrepreneurial intention of returning to hometown negatively.
