Research On The Developing Woodcarving Industry Of Bai Nationality In Jianchuan

Jianchuan Bai woodcarving is one kind of particular important woodcarving skills in Yunnan. It has gained a worldwide fame through all the ages. It reflects and presents the productive life,customs and traditions and religious beliefs of the Bai people in Jianchuan, being a main aspect of the development of woodcarving industry and cultural industry in Yunnan. “In 2011, Jianchuan Bai woodcarving is ranked as the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage, which has promoted a greater public attention to the Jianchuan Bai woodcarving. It has become the most important issue that how to further protect and inherit the national intangible cultural heritage. ” For the developing purpose of Jianchuan Bai woodcarving, we need more considerations about how to protect,how to solve the specific problems we faced. We should catch this chance particularly under the environment of our country advocated the development of cultural industry. This paper analyzes the course,status, features, developing problems and affecting factors of the development of Jianchuan Bai woodcarving industry. It makes a comprehensive analysis on Jianchuan Bai Woodcarving industry. By analyzing the main problems and affecting factors of Jianchuan Bai woodcarving industry with a summarization about such a developing background, we get implications on the better development of our woodcarving industry and the woodcarving cultural industry.
