In recent decades, the research of "give" sentence in Chinese is relatively common, full of fruitful research results, but "benefactives" has never been as a hot research topic.Especially in minority language studies, the expression of "giving" and "benefactive" event is seldom dealt with. However, "giving" and "benefactive" event is the most frequently encountered scenes in daily human life, thus the expressions of "giving" and "benefactive" event is worthy of a thorough research. This paper takes Dadong Wenming Naxi as the research object, and investigates the expressions of "giving" and "benefactive" events from the perspective of syntax and semantics, This paper structured in 6 chapters as follows.Introduction mainly introduces the research purpose and its significance, the research background, research methods and the current research status. The first chapter mainly discusses the Naxi nationality as a profile of Dadong Wenming Naxi sound system. The brief of the Naxi nationality includes its population distribution, self proclaimed appellation, and other aspects. The profile of the sound system includes the initials, finals, tone, syllable structure. The second chapter mainly classifies the expressions of "giving" and "benefactive" event with respective formal characteristics. The next part discusses the source of the beneficiary markers. Then the use and the differens of the three recipient markers are analyzed. In the end, the semantic overlapping and shades between the "giving" event and benefactive event is demonstrated. The third chapter focuses on the Serial Verb Constructions(SVCs).We find that in a SVC the verb "z(?)55" "give" always follow the core verb V, and there is no blinking devices between them. The fourth chapter studies the pragmatic and the cognitive factorsgive and that affect the expressions of "giving"and "benefactive". We find that some components (i.e.recipient, beneficiaries and patients) are vulnerable to topicalization. According to the cognitive differences, there are four different prototype schemas:"giving", "accepting", "benefactives" and "possession".The fifth chapter makes a comparative study on some subdialects i.c.Dadong Wenming, Tacheng and Longshan.we find that the expressions in three subdialects, but differ in pronunciation and vocabulary. The sixth chapter as a conclusion, summarizes the paper, and points out the room to improve.
