As world economies going towards integration, collisions, communication, and integration among different cultures become more and more often, so does the communication and integration between Chinese children’s literature and world children’s literature. Chinese children’s literature has entered a new era as child-centered view, literature theory, writers, writing styles, and mass media develop.The arts have free expression and the schools of thoughts contend without restrictions, Chinese children’s literature is also on the way to becoming prosperous.As transformation of China’s economic and society and the process of urbanization has being speed up, the problem of left-behind children has called attention of the society. Left-behind child literature appeared in 1990 s in the form of novel, reportage, and movie and television literature. As the aesthetic reflection of the problem of left-behind child, Left-behind child literature has become an essential part of Chinese contemporary child literature. It describes the daily life of left-behind child and offers a broad spiritual and cultural platform to healthy growth of children. There is not much child literature, and types of it are too homogeneous. It mainly written for calling for attention while it is not suitable for children to read. The production of literature is lack of theory and it neglects the not-child-centered problemBased on the left-behind children literature since 20 years ago, combining view on children, the psychology of the child, and so on, and the thesis analyzes the left-behind children literature generally and offers help to the creation of left-behind children literature.Besides the introduction and conclusion, there are 5 parts in this essay. The introduction analyzes the background of left-behind children literature and defines left-behind children literature. Chapter 1 states the course of production and evolution from child literature to left-behind children literature, points out the left-behind children literature is not-child-centered. Chapter 2 analyzes the problem of left-behind children literature from 3 angles which includes topic, image creation and the theme implication. Chapter 3 analyzes the cause of the not-child-centered problem of left-behind children literature which includes the creation, the acceptance and the media. Chapter 4 analyzes the reasons of being not-child-centered from utilitarianism, theory, and angel. The conclusion is about to build the ecological chain of left-behind children literature and offer the way to be child-centered.I think, the creation, theory of left-behind children literature is insufficient, so the left-behind children literature must come back to be child-centered. Thus this essay is of great importance.
