Design And Study On Textile Material Installation Art Themed On Environmental Protection

This paper mainly studies textile material installation art themed on environment protection and is divided into two parts of theoretical research and design practice. Combining textile material installation art with the theme of environment protection,exploring the feasibility of textile material installation art that themed on environmental protection, and artworks which can warn people to review environmental issues are designed and produced.The study in this paper aims to combine recently concerned environmental issues with the installation art and the author’s major, so as to explore the application value and market value of textile material installation artworks themed on environment protection. Meanwhile, the author expects to make personal contribution to the cause of environmental protection based on the major of textile art design. In this regard, this paper studied the environmental protection as the theme of textile materials and installation art in the domestic and foreign development status, real-time situation of today’s environmental protection, and to environmental protection as the theme of interior design, fashion design, textile materials and installation art design and other art forms, clear understanding of the research object and research purpose.In this paper, through an investigation on all kinds of art design themed on environment protection, the installation art is compared with other art forms and design methods, the design method of the installation art is summarized and applied to graduation creation, and finally artworks are created.The final design plan is using the stumps to show people what we have done to the environment, and how we should awareness environmental issues. Then study on the installation’s display, the work is final showed in the exhibition hall.The artist GuWendasays: “The dreaming human world of Utopia would never be achieved in our real life, but it will be achieved in art.” This means that the art may achieve a man’s thoughts. This is the purpose creating the artworks that combining textile material installation art with the theme of environment protection.
