Economy which is the premise and foundation for culture determines culture and culture has the reaction to economy. There is a symbiotic, isomorphic and interactive relationship between culture and economy. The theory of literature and art, economics and others overlap to form the cultural economics. It is an important form and phenomenon of human social development as the product of mutual integration of culture and economy, therefore the concept of cultural economics is also increasingly gaining attention. The book Handbook of the Economics of Art and Culture is an authority in the research field of global cultural economics and build the theory consensus of the economics of art and culture, which actively promotes the development of the economics of art and culture, and cultural industry in China. The author participates in this translation practice task entrusted by Dongbei University of Finance and Economics Press and is responsible for translating the Chapter 12 in the form of simulation project.This report takes the translation practice as a case study and introduces the whole translation process, including the project analysis, preparation before translation, translation process and proofreading after translation. Under the guidance of the functional equivalence theory and respectively from the perspective of lexical, syntactic, textual and stylistic equivalence, the author uses the specific examples in this translation practice to analyze the problems in the translation process. In addition, the author also discusses the translation methods and translation skills to solve those problems. Finally, the author summarizes some experience in this translation practice and hopes these contribute to translation practice work in the future.
