The new period discussed in this paper refers to the historical period that Chinese economy has made great progress since the reform and opening up in 1978. Under the background of the market economy and globalization, Chinese contemporary literature has entered a period of diersified development. Difference in the reginal literature gradually appears, and difference in Eastern and Western literature begins to emerge. Children’s literature, as a backbone, also presents a tendency of diersification. The eastern Children’s literature developed earlier has gained dominance, While the western Children’s literature, riched in regional characteristic, is still underdeveloped. As an important part of western Children’s literature, the creation of Children’s literature in Shaanxi, is filled in the culture of San Qings.This paper will attempt to discuss the creation of children’s literature in Shaanxi from the perspective of regional culture, and highlight the uniqueness of children’s literature in Shaanxi through the comparative study. In the domestic, the research on regional children’s literature has made great progress in recent years, such as Hu Nan, Shang Hai, Yun Nan and so on. Based on the domestic research status on regional children’s literature and the theory of regional literature and children’s literature, this paper will trace the developing headstream of children’s literature in Shaanxi, present the creation of children’s literature in Shaanxi, analyze the spiritual implication,artistic feature and cultural connotation appeared in works, and put forward the constructive suggestions for developing direction. Finally, standing in the history of literature, this paper will evaluate and orientate the children’s literature in Shaanxi.
