City Landmarks Of Their Region Functional Design Research

With the development of the city, people realize the important of urban landscape environment; people aesthetic requirements of urban identity are increasingly high. So in recent years, the city landmarks has made great achievements, however there are a lot of problems such as overwhelming use of western influence designs, serious problems of similar designs, conceptualization and so on. City landmarks regional specialties loss phenomenon is very obvious which resulting in a large number of landmarks reduced fits-all foam identity. Therefore, the research for landmarks design to out stand performance of regional cultural characteristics is very important and urgent.The first part of the paper describes the background, researching status inside and abroad, which lead to the purpose of writing. Secondly, it describes the relationship between urban landscape identity and significance of regional, which is from the standpoint of theory. At the same time, it illustrates the city landmarks region functional of the necessity and importance. Based on the urban landscape situation analysis of problems and their causes identify, combined regional characteristics of the city landmark design works of analysis and interpretation, summarized the principles of landmark design in the urban landscape of regional performance. The city landmark identification method use prominent regional design. This chapter focused on how to design aspects of the urban landscape, a detailed analysis of regional culture in the city landmark design methods, summarized the specific design process.
