The Research Of Measure Words "Gu, Shu, Liu, Lü"

The appearance measure word is of rich shape traits and can well reflect shape traits of the objects, which is a unique and important category in Chinese measure words. "Gu, Shu, Liu, Lü" is a group of synonymous appearance measure words that match with elongated objects, which is quite similar. Therefore, native speakers may not always properly use them, foreign learners often make errors when use them.Thus, making a comprehensive research on semantic,syntax and semantic evolution of the four is of great significance for Chinese ontology research and teaching Chinese as a foreign language research.The thesis includes three parts, introduction, text and conclusion.Introduction: we mainly deal with the following questions, why we choose this title, the current study of this title, research significance of this paper, what theory we use in this paper and where are the corpus we use from.The text is made up of three chapters.Chapter 1: To study semantic collocation of "Gu, Shu, Liu, Lü", to neaten noun phrases and predicate phrases that match with the four, analyse the semantic characteristics of the four, then to compare the distinctive meaning features,analyse the semantic mutual restraint of "Gu, Shu, Liu, Lü" and the objects that match with them finally.Chapter 2: To research grammatical function of "Gu, Shu, Liu, Lü", what kinds of noun words can these four match with, the similarities and differences of the four measure words; to analyse the syntax features of “numerals +gu / shu/ liu/ lü”; to analyse syntax functions and rhetorical effect of reduplication “AA,一 AA,一 A 一 A” forms that the four possess.Chapter 3: Based on abundant of corpus, to study the diachronic evolution of "Gu, Shu, Liu, Lü" at the length. To analyse when to use as a measure words,evolvement track and the semantic change process; to further solve the problems that exist in synchronic study.Collusion: Summary of this paper,to gather up synchronic and diachronic study of the paper.
