Huang Tingjian who is the famous calligrapher in the Mid Northern Song Dynasty is good at cursive and combines the school of “Chinese Chan”.Combining the school of “Chinese Chan”in the early Northern Song Dynasty,Huang Tingjian learnt from Zhou Yue ? Su Dongpo ? Zhang Xu and Huai Su.Firstly,the article shows that Huang Tingjian forms His writing styles differ from the same period with shaking strokes?inclined structure and well spaced composition.Secondly,in order to understand Huang Tingjian's aesthetic thoughts through specific calligraphy works,he can embody the practice under the guidance of art concepts and the consistency of calligraphy style.Finally,through the analysis and interpretation of calligraphy characteristics of Huang Tingjian and taking theory as the starting point and basis for creation,the basic elements of strokes?structure and composition have different emphasis on emotional expression which combine the form and content to express the aesthetic taste of flutter?elegance?plain and vigour with illustrating different textured lines?outline and row spacing.What's more,Using the form of horizontal of Huang Tingjian's cursive script to show the sense of form effectively and to convey the characteristics of artistic aesthetic emotion to my own calligraphy creation.
