In the long history of Chinese calligraphy, Ming Dynasty calligraphy is difficult to have a breakthrough in the inheritance of "Two Wangs" system or technique and the writing method under the influence of Tang and Song Dynasty calligraphy, two peaks in the history of calligraphy. During the late Ming Dynasty, the calligraphers group, formed by Xu Wei, Zhang Ruitu, Huang Daozhou, Ni Yuanlu, Wang Duo, Fu Shan and so on, didn’t obey the classical tradition, but developed toward the artistic styles of "clumsy","thick","ancient","gorgeous","big" under the aesthetic effect of highly praising attitude".This paper selects his large vertical shaft works as the research focus among many of Ni Yuanlu’s writing style, tries to put the idea of’words in your" aside, makes a more objective interpretation of the writing characteristics and the calligraphic concept.and points out the aesthetic standards of peopele in Ming Dynasty toword cursive and the unique feature compared with the Wei and Jin Dynasties and the Tang and Song Dynasties...
