Sorting And Studying Of Ancient Stone Compilation In Northwest China (Han To Tang Dynasty)

Ancient Stone Compilation in Northwest China, a collection of epitaphs unearthed in northwest, is edited by Zhao Ping, published by the Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing Housein 2000. In the long history of cultural precipitation in northwest China, the carved stone takes an important part in it.As the credible information to study the economy, politics, military affairs, culture, art and geography of the Northwest, the stone has a very high historical value. From the Han to the Tang Dynasty,China experience unify to separation and the unified again. T his period of history is an important chapter in the historical process.At the same time, this period is also an important period of prosperity, development and completion, and the inscriptions document of all kinds of categories, applications, genres and shapes emerged endlessly. This article included134 epitaphs from Ancient Stone Compilation in Northwest China, 39 of which are interpretated and 47 of which are examinated.The article is divided into four main parts,introduction, sorting,the study of character and the study of vocabulary. The first chapter includes an introductory overview of the research material, research significance and an introductory of research status and provides a direction of research ideas,methods Emphasis,and difficulty.The second chapter is divided into Explanation and collation.The first section includes the Explanation and comments, the selected material is 39 monumental which are not collected in Inscriptions Explanation in Han, Wei and Six Dynasties.The first section explains 47 epitaphss according to the Inscriptions Explanation in Han, Wei and Six Dynasties.The third chapter studies some Chinese words, difficult words and calligraphy.The fourth chapter is divided into the research of allusion words,surname words,place name and officials words.The paper provides a useful supplement to the ancient Stone Compilation in Northwest China,and provides a more comprehensive basic materials for the research of other scholars. Meanwhile,the author provides some useful information for the study of language.
