This paper taking sophomore and junior students in Kazakhstan Abu khan University who are learning business Chinese as survey object,and making research on their needs of Chinese learning by questionnaire and interview.This thesis includes six parts: the introduction part talks about the origin,significance and aim of research, and also the research method. The first chapter discusses the research in two sides: research of business Chinese and the theory of English teaching method. The second chapter introduce the theory of this thesis,which is called Needs Analysis. Also the second chapter discusses the necessary of making needs analysis on the learners. Based on the theory, chapter three making research on the learning motivation, requirement of textbook and lesson according to the questionnaire. Then it makes statistic analysis on the survey results. According to the characteristics of learners and the survey results, chapter four takes out some suggestion on the business Chinese lesson, setting of lesson and textbook compilation.Chapter five aims at taking out the teaching design based on the four chapters and the suggestion. Furthermore,there will be conclusions after conducting the experiment in the class.The author hopes that after making research on the needs analysis, it will make a contribution to the development of business Chinese teaching, especially in the Central Asian region.
