“Larger letters” and “small letters” are proposed by Plato when discuss the question of justice in the second volume of “Utopia”, the consistency between them is based on justice theory of Plato established. For this point, it produced many scholars’ dispute. This article is based on these disputes. In the following discussion, I will attempt to show that Plato is based on the disorder social reality and reintroduced justice theory. In clarify this point later, I will analyze the connotation of secular justice and Plato’s rebuttal, tentatively concluded that when Plato refute the concept of Secularism, which including “paying your debts”、“speaking the truth ”and “obeying laws”, his point is just denying these acts as a concept and these acts is justice acts. Thus, the differences between Plato’s theory of justice and Secularism is the concept and practical. In Plato’s ideal city both of them can connected. In other words, “Plato’s theory of justice” and “secular theory of justice” is relevant. In addition, in this article I will attempt to depart from the principles of law and the reduction to absurdity, concluded that: in Plato’s theory of justice the “small letters”and “larger letters” are the same thing. The way is: First, they are on the same concept of justice is divided, it is identical in form. Second, in “soul-thirds” and “Four Kinds of virtue” have the same actual. Thus, the relationship between the two are identical. So, this paper not only responds Sachs perspective in 1963 “Plato” Utopia “a fallacy”, but responded Williams’. On this point, this article will attempt to restore justice theory of Plato in his argumentation ideas. And further analysis and extension. The conclusion is: “larger letters of justice” and “small letters of justice” are based on the “know thyself” principle, the discovery of the human personality, to realize their own value in working to achieve the well-being of all citizens is the goal. Thus, Plato’s theory of justice has obvious characteristics of humanism.
