The Developmental Characters Of Delinquenent Conduct Of The Adolescence-limited And The Life-course-persistent Among The Juvenile

By the use of “Juvenile Life Questionnaire”, this study selected the 109 minors to explore the developmental characters and influential factors of delinquenent conduct of the adolescence-li-mited and life-course-persistent among the juvenile. A self-made questionnaire of delinquenent conduct was used to explore the development track of the adolescence-limited and life-course-persistent, analyze the relationship among childhood and adolescent misbehavior and childhood trauma(emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional neglect, physical neglect), psychopathy(callous unemotional traits, narcissism, impulsive), maturity gap(the need for autonomy, pubertal developmental, parental permissiveness), attention deficit disorder. A comparison was made between the adolescence-limited and life-course-persistent on gender, the reason for under control and parental rearing behavior. A regression analysis was used to find the major predicting variables of the adolescence-limited and life-course-persistent delinquenent conduct.The findings were as follows:1. The self-made questionnaire of delinquenent conduct has good reliability and validity,which is suitable for the research on the development track of juvenile.2. Compare with life-course-persisten, the adolescence-limited has fewer difference on gender.3. The reason for under control to the adolescence-limited is minor, while for the life-course-persistent is worse.4. Compare with the life-course-persistent, the adolescence-limited were took better care by their parents. Adolescence misbehavior of the adolescence-limited is significantly positively related to father’s “picky”, while childhood misbehavior of the life-course-persistent is significantly negatively related to mother’s “trust and love”.5. The adolescence-limited hardly behaved delinquenent conduct in childhood, and they will behave frequently the misbehavior during adolescence, which worse than the adolescence-limited.The life-course-persistent behave frequently the misbehavior both in childhood and adolescence.6.On the desire for autonomy, the adolescence-limited scored significantly higher than the life-course-persistent, while on narcissism, impulsive, and attention deficit, the life-course-persis-tent scored significantly higher than the adolescence-limited.7. Impulsive and emotional abuse can positively predict the adolescence misbehavior of the adolescence-limited, which can explain 25.8% of variance. Callous unemotional traits and emotional abuse can positively predict the childhood misbehavior of the life-course-persistent,which can explain 44.8% of variance.
