As a problem, identity has a long history, there are a lot of scholars on the different aspects of the research of identity. The identity problem in philosophy was widely recognized as the presupposition in the solution process of many problems. It helps deal with the relationship between formal logic and dialectical logic to insight into the identity problem, and it also can provide theoretical basis to sociology, ethics, psychology, law, and even many subjects such as physics, mathematics. As one of the representatives, Kripke’s necessary identity theory has its own relatively complete theoretical system. In this paper, on the basis of summarizing basic point about identity, we will use literature research and comparative research to study the construction of necessary identity, and this paper expounds the related theory of possible world semantics, strict instructions and essentialism.Through the study of Kripke’s necessary identity theory, we can not only clarify the relationship between his theoretical system, and can also find that a lot of problems about identity is unavoidable. Identity problems are related deeply with the way which we know and think about things, the identity of different types reflects our different aspects of the human mind or the different needs of understanding. As a relatively complete theoretical system, the necessary identity theory of Kripke has the advantage of the theory itself, for example, it helps us to solve the confusion about identity across time and transworld identity, but at the same time, there are some contradictory or imperfections in the process of establishing the theory gradually, which need more scholars to go further excavations of the theory.
