Planning and integration ones own past, present and future is a kind ofself-identity achievement, that is important developmental tasks foradolescents and emerging adults are confronted with on the pathway toadulthood in Erikson’s theory of psychological and social development.Collage student are often faced with the problem of identity conflictdecision, and it is closely connected to the information processing way ofself-identity. The present study use the way of psychologicalmeasurement, consisting of500college students to finish threequestionnaires, set out from the angles of dynamic and static, Use bothidentity status and style to comparing with time perspective to find outthe relationships.And through further study focus on2*2*2mixed design method, select300male and female students randomly assigned into parental supportand opposition groups. Make decisions between self intention VSauthority recommend, self interest relevant VS self survival relevant. Inolder to understand the actual situation of the specific identity problemsituations.The result shows that:1. In the perspective of self-identity for time perspective shows that:different self-identity status and style on the dimensions of the timeperspective scoring significant difference; identity achievement status and informational style have smaller deviation from the balanced timeperspective; different self-identity status influence time perspective ofindividual difference through the formation of self-identity style.2. In the perspective of time perspective for self-identity shows that:the time perspective influence on the self-identity style and status,through dynamic information processing way of individual identity, thatis self-identity style; individual differences in time perspective is one ofthe reason for differences in in style of self-identity and status of theindividual.3. In the background of parental opposition situation, collage studentselect on which decisions between self intention VS authority recommend,self interest relevant VS self survival relevant have a significantrelationship with their self-identity style; In the background of parentalsupport situation, collage student select on which decisions between selfintention VS authority recommend, self interest relevant VS self survivalrelevant have no significant relationship with their self-identity style; Onthe choose of collage student own level of time investment based on thedecision of the conflict choice self interest relevant VS self survivalrelevant, student in the context of parental support have significantlyhigher than parental opposition background situation.Concluded that: Individuals in Achievement status and informationalstyle shows balanced time perspective; different self-identity status influence time perspective of individual difference through the formationof self-identity style.Ones past positive, present-hedonistic, future time perspective canpositively predict informational style. Present-fatalistic, past negativeorientated time perspective can positively predict normative style anddiffuse/avoidant style. Individual differences in time perspective is one ofthe reason for differences in in style of self-identity and status of theindividual.Most informational style people choose self intention and self interestrelevant between self intention VS authority recommend, self interestrelevant VS self survival relevant in the background of parental opposedsituation. On the choose of collage student own level of time investmentbased on the decision of the conflict choice self interest relevant VS selfsurvival relevant, student in the context of parental support havesignificantly higher than parental opposition background situation.
