The contemporary writer Zhang Xianliang has been keeping writing and publishing many new productions since 1979,when he begun to rewrite novels. Liang is also a writer who dares to challenge the conventions,rich in the spirit of exploration in the history of contemporary literature.His early novels such as "the Greener tree", "the half of man is woman",have broken the taboo of the contemporary literature about the description of sex and porn at an earlier time.His latter novels “160 million” described a story of a fantastic superior “race” defending war at a way of “Front rather than the sword”.Not only Zhang Xianliang’s novels not dare to break the speech restrict areas, but also reflects the characteristics of the distinctive narrative in captivity. The novel”Captivity”is not just up to his own 22 years long painful experiences of being trapped,but also the encounter of the leading role of the novel.Zhang’s captivity narrative novels reflect the profound connotation and complex meaning by describing the disciplines,salvations and the imprisoned traumatic memory. Meanwhile,“Imprisoned” is not only as a symbol of a generation of meaning,but also as a narrative way participating in the composing of the text.I attempt to expand the system analysis of the features of Zhang’s captivity narrative in my paper.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the paper is divided into three chapters to discuss on the topic about "the captivity narratives of Zhang Xianliang Novels:The prolegomena mainly introduces Zhang Xianliang’s novels creation overview, reviews the research status, clarifies the reason of the topic and the significance.Chapter one, starting from the background of the history of the captivity narrative literatures,dating back to root history about the captivity narrative in the Western literature,while investigating the relationships between Zhang’s imprisoned experiences and his novels based on the “Captivity” narrative.Chapter Two, starting from the core of the captivity narrative with the analysis of the descriptions for the imprisoned in human boby and spirit at Zhang’s Captivity narratives,and the vivid analysis of the novel about the descriptions of the”Trapped”,who has got the support in spirit by the female savior.Chapter three, starting from the narratological features of the captivity narrative,it will disscuss Zhang’s novels’ features as “Individual narrative of Freedom ethics”,which are distinguished from the “Grand narratives of the Human’s ethics”,that is exhibited in Zhang’s captivity narratives.Moreover,it will also analyze Zhang’s novels’ features for the Narratology which could been reviewed in the descriptions in writing about the” Captivity ”,including imprisoning and how salvations,as an inherent narrative power,promote the evolution of the storylines.The discourse and the narrative methods of the captivit narrative,the pattern of Genius and beauty in the captivity narrative,etc would probably be involed in this paper.The conclusion sums up the whole paper, and reviews Zhang Xianliang’s success and failure, gain and loss in his captivity narrative。...
