On October 14,2021,the film Yanagawa,directed by Zhang Lv,was the opening film of the Shanxi Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival in China.The26 th Busan International Film Festival set of ICONS achieved simultaneous premieres in both countries.It is expected to hit Chinese mainland cinemas in 2022.The screening of the film at the China Film Festival puts Zhang lv,an individualistic Chinese-Language director,back in the spotlight after a decade-long absence from the chinese-language film scene.As a Chinese Korean independent film director who has been creating in South Korea for a long time,every label on his body shows the uniqueness of his creative identity,which makes his films have a unique perspective on society and individuals.In the world’s major film festivals,he always uses his unique calm narrative strategy,minimalist audio-visual language,to show the plain and thrilling film theme.This article starts from Zhang Lv’s films,through the reading of zhang Lv’s film text,carries on the systematic and comprehensive research to zhang Lv’s films.The first chapter elaborates the transformation of director Zhang Lv’s life track and creation track,goes deep into the environment of his growth and life and his personal experience,and summarizes the two stages of his creation career development,which is the basis of studying his film art and has very important significance.The second chapter studies the narrative themes of Zhang Lv’s films,starting from the two themes of identity and love,and then expounds the changes of the identity of the characters under the two themes,as well as the content crossing the boundaries of life and death,desire,dream and so on,to show the humanistic spirit connotation conveyed behind the films.Understand the East Asian social group images and the emotional connection between people in Zhang Lv’s vision.The third chapter,starting from zhang Lv’s narrative discourse,discusses the spatial image style of Zhang Lv’s films,focusing on the theme connotation of fixed long shots,moving long shots,rotating shots,sound design and interpretation of space color,and deeply explores the emotional dark wave brought by zhang Lv’s minimalist film style.The fourth chapter,starting from the narrative strategy in Zhang Lv’s films,gives an overall grasp of the narrative structure,narrative perspective and narrative space of the films,makes clear its unique text construction mode,and understands the narrative universe of intertextuality formed by the director through different works.Zhang Lv’s films by means of the persistence and the innovation of unique narrative theme,narrative discourse and narrative strategy,showing the calm under the undercurrent of daily life,completed the depressive mood expression of mind under,implements the care of the East Asia communities’ spirit,for the modern people’s survival situation and behavior research has important research significance and value.
