Wei Su was one of the writers and historians during the period from the late Yuan to the early Ming Dynasty, he wrote a lot of poems and articles.Up to now yet, most of the academic study about him was made from the viewpoint of his literature views, friends, academic thought, psychology, but seldom discussed about his general works. This thesis is based on Wei Su’s biography, examining the existence and missing of his works, using textual analysis as the primary method, and trying to demonstrate his overall literature creation outlook. By analyzing his point of view, found that his main idea was Confucianism which combined with Buddhism and Taoism, as well as the thinking about history. All these ideologies brought his work showing a particular style. His poems used a lot of allusions, overlapping words and pronouns. The main content were the reciprocal poems, epic, scenery poems, which paid a high degree of attention to the social reality and shows his peculiar imagination. His articles were mainly preface and postscript, notes, biography and tablet inscriptions and other practical writing, high practicality. And with a clear sense of the article format, he consciously put it into literary creation. Instead of rigidly adhering to the pattern, he wrote more freely. With concise language, he combined the narration and discussion skillfully. And the characteristics of his poetry and articles is the concrete manifestation of his literary ideas----writings for conveying the truth.
