A Research On Word Group Teaching Of Words About Chinese Plants

Vocabulary is the building material of language, in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the word teaching has long been regarded as top priority. In addition to the phonetic teaching, almost all other aspects of teaching are based on vocabulary teaching. The research achievements of experts and scholars on word teaching are very prolific, including the study of vocabulary teaching. Word group teaching method as a method of vocabulary teaching is relatively new in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, Its characteristic is that according to semantic relationship among the words within the word group, the word is imparted to students in the form of "group", making the students’ vocabulary get a larger growth in a short period of time, and guiding students to learn the new words with previously learned words, setting up their own words network in their own minds.This paper takes word group of words about plants in the specific teaching materials as foothold, relies on the writer’s experience as a volunteer teacher at Kirov middle school in Jolipan Ata city of Issyk Kul state in Kyrgyzstan, and interprets meaning and usage of every word involved in the word group according to word group teaching method, collects students’ feedback in the form of test paper test,explores rules and patterns of the word group teaching method in middle school students through statistical analysis in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and testifies the feasibility of word group teaching method. Hope to provide some reference and inspiration for vocabulary teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
