Internet banking is a product of the combination of technological advance innetwork information and financial innovation. Internet banking has widened the field offinancial service,improved its quality and reduced its cost. However,the immature offinance innovative technology also brings new risk to the internet banking. These newrisks make it hard for the internet banking to adapt to Traditional banking supervisionsystem. As market access of the Internet banking is the first line of defense to thesupervision, this system plays an important role in risk identification and risk prevention.Appropriate supervision of the market access can improve the efficiency of the regulator,and lay the foundation for the steady development of the internet banking.This paper is based on financial regulation theory,and from the perspective of thegovernment legal regulation and financial risk monitoring, analyses the basic theory ofthe market access of internet banking. By carding the system and summing upexperience of the other countries,and summarized existing problems of our country,put forward methods to improve the market access of internet banking. Full-textincludes introduction, body and conclusion, of which the body is divided into fourchapters:Chapter one is “The concept of internet banking and its market access”.Thischapter discuss the the meaning, features and function of internet banking and itsmarket access systematically, and analyses the market access of internet banking’sconstitution.Chapter two is “Review and reference of the internet banking in foreigncountries”. This Chapter describes the market access supervision for internet bankingin America, UK, France, Korea and Hong Kong and so on. After that, we can get thesuccessful experiences which is available for reference for our country.Chapter three is “The status and problems of the market access for internetbanking in china”.This chapter analyzes the status of the market access for internetbanking in china,and discusses its existing problem.Chapter four is “The suggestions for improving the market access of internetbanking”.On the basis of combining with its own national conditions and grasping theexisting problem, this chapter propose some measures to improve the market access:establishing a regulatory legal system of the market access for internet banking, establishing the industry standard, speeding up the reform of financial regulatory system,founding deposit insurance system, promoting the industry self-discipline, andstrengthening the international cooperation and so on.
