Problematical dialectics is the premise and base of his idea "handle affairs according to dialectics" when he dealt with the domestic and international major problems at his time. Namely, only through the way of dialectical thinking and analysis of problems faced, can one solve the problems and handle other affairs dialectically. Therefore, it is necessary to make a systematical research on Deng Xiaoping’s thoughts of problematical dialectics. The core of Deng Xiaoping’s problematical dialectics focuses on facing real problems directly, solving them properly, and reflect and foresee the real life correspondingly. The contents of Deng Xiaoping’s thoughts of problematical dialectics were typically presented in his thinking and achievements when he was faced with and solved the Chinese major problems. And the problems included construction of military and railways,"two whatevers" and how to hold high Mao Zedong’s Thoughts, as well as the problems of technology and education, economic construction, and party organization and leadership, and it also contain the problems of socialism and reform and opening up, international affairs, and unification of China and so on. Deng Xiaoping’s thoughts of Problematical dialectics has the distinct features of practicality, reflection, systematicness, and perspectiveness which present the essence of Marxim. During the past period of more than30years since the reform and opening up, our country witnesses great progress and experiences a unprecedented changes. Yet there are still a lot of problems to be solved quickly. All of these need to further study and obtain, apply and enrich Deng Xiaoping’s thoughts of problematical dialectics and make it developed, and to solve them bravely.
