Design And Analysis For China-Japan-Korea Liberalization Of Trade In Services

With the center of world economy leaning to service trade and contribution to economymade by service being gradually recognized, service industry has become the engine foreconomic development of the country, trade in services is becoming an important componentof regional trade agreement, the liberalization of trade in services will also be contained inthe negotiation of CKJ Free Trade Area.This thesis attempts to design and analysis for China-Japan-Korea Liberalization of Trade inServices, helps them finding a mutually beneficial and effective institutional arrangements.The whole dissertation is comprised of preface and five chapters.In chapter one, there is a necessity and feasibility analysis about the China-Japan-KoreaLiberalization of Trade in Services, by analyzing cultural background, geopolitical factorsand strategic interests. In chapter two, there is the total commentary of the extent of servicetrade liberalization for China, Japan and Korea, by analyzing the sector scope of servicetrade liberalization and the barriers of trade in services. In chapter three, the suggestion isprovided to text models and context structures of CJK free trade agreement. In chapter four,Emphasizing on the difference of MFN treatment and transparency between AFAS andNAFTA. The existence of difference comes from different local origin and affords us lessonsto design the basic rules of CJK trade in service. In chapter five, by choosing the bestscheduling approach according to the specific situation in China, Japan and Korea, designingan institutional arrangement for China, Japan and Korea services trade cooperation.
