The Study Of Civil Compensation Liability Caused By Hitchhiking In Accident

With the development of economy and the improvement of people’s livingstandards in China, cars become more and more common for people. At the sametime, unexpected accidents which arise from people’s kind invitation to hitchhikearouse people’s concern. It appears a lot of "hitchhiking" examples in the cases oftraffic accident damages. However, the current law in our country does not haverelevant regulations of hitchhiking. Experts and scholars have different opinionsabout how to divide the responsibility for the damages caused by hitchhiking. Thelocal courts lack of uniform rules as the basis for trialing hitchhiking. Consequently,the processing results are difficult to reflect the fair. This paper mainly discuss onhitchhiking, and give some advise on how to deal with hitchhiking. I hope this paperwill help establish or improve the civil compensation system of traffic accidentscause by hitchhiking as soon as possible.
