Study On The Political Development Of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics In The New Century

Along with the modernization process of socialism with Chinese characteristicsconstruction, China’s political development has become an increased focus of theworld. To choose what kind of political development road in the future is not onlyrelated to the overall situation of Chinese socialist construction, but also tothe fate of our Party and nation, as well as the vital interests of everybody. Practiceshave proved that China’s political development is closely consistent with certainsociety, history and culture, which have distinct China characteristics and agecharacteristics.Political development is positive, which changes occur in the political field,including the revolutionary and adjustment of various kinds of relations in thepolitical superstructure. The political development of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics, which is a process of political democratization related to China’ssocialist modernization, refers to the positive changes and progress occurred incontemporary Chinese politics. In this study, we focus on the political developmentof socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new century. The main points areshowed as follows: In the first part, we state that the political development in ourcountry should be on the premise of basic political idea and set the basic strategictarget for the socialist political development with Chinese characteristics includingthe development of democratic politics, the practice of the rule of law politics,pursuit of political efficiency, maintaining political stability; In the second part, weanalyze the practical principles for the political development of socialism withChinese characteristics according to the current situation of our country, whichinvolves keeping the combination of the Party’s leadership, people being thehost and ruling by law, and persisting to develop within the basic political system,also adhering to the scientific outlook on development, that is to say realizing socialharmony, maintaining fairness and justice, expanding political democracy; In thethird part we discuss the exploring of the road of the political development ofsocialism with Chinese characteristics in the new century from four aspects includingthe development mode, development pattern and development content.In the key period of social transformation in our country, the contradictions invarious fields increase obviously and bring serious test to political development.Further studying on the political development of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics in the new century, deep understanding of the nature and regularinside of the socialist political system with Chinese characteristics, perfecting the system to resolve contradictions gradually would be helpful for us to realize thepolitical development in harmony with the economic development and socialstability, and to reveal the confidence of developing a road to socialist politicaldevelopment with Chinese characteristics.
