Report Of Female Crimes In XX District Of Chongqing From2007to2011

With the continuous improvement of women’s political and economic status, the majority of women are more and more widely involved in social life to play an active role, but there were few women facing complex social environment and bizarre social phenomenon, lost correct grasp of their own ability, and embarked on a road of criminal. The growing of female crime and its social harm have become the inevitable social issues. Now to carry out the study of female crime is not only an objective need for the development of domestic female crime situation, but also the urgent need for the practical work, but in the range of Chongqing, the research about female crime is rare. To end this, the author analyze the characteristics and causes of female crime in Chongqing, combining with the real data and cases she got, so as to give suggestions to effectively prevent female crime.This report includes five parts. The first part is a brief description of the purpose and significance of the research, that is to explore the reasons caused the phenomenon of female crime in the area by analyzing the female criminal cases from2007to2011in a area of Chongqing, so as to provide basis for the prevention of female crime in theory, and help the female criminal return to the society in practice.The second part is the methods of the research. Firstly, the article shows the reasons of choosing the area as a sample combined with the situation of Chongqing, and then it introduces the investigation methods to complete this report, that is the case investigation and case tracking.The third part is the result of the research. That is to list the data in chart, which summarizes the various features of the female crime in the area of Chongqing, including the number of female criminal and female crime rate, the types and characteristics of the female crime, the age characteristics of female criminal, the cultural level of female criminal, the job characteristics of female criminal.The fourth part is analysis and discussion. That is to summarize the reasons of female crime phenomena of the area, the author mainly analyses from internal and external causes. From the crime rates, we can see the number of female criminal keeps growing, the internal cause is the pressure brought by the change of social roles of women, the external cause is that the traditional social values can’t meet the needs of women. From the crime types, we can conclude three characteristics:first, the criminal purpose is for money, the internal cause is the limit of the female body condition, the external cause is the temptation of material society; second, female crime seriously harm the social order, the internal cause is that women are easily influenced by others, the external cause is the lack of supervision to the entertainment places; third, female job-related crimes increases, the internal cause is that women are easily affected by the emotional factors, the external cause is the lack of supervision of the involved unit. From the age of female criminal, the data shows that youth women account for the most, and underage girl crime should also be emphasized. From the cultural level of the female criminal, we can draw three conclusions:first, low educated women are more likely to commit crimes; second, high educated women are more likely to involved in economic crime; third, lack of the legal consciousness is the common cause of female crime. From the job of female criminal, we can see the unemployed women and peasant women accounted for eighty percent of the total number, this is mainly caused by the difficult employment and life stress.The fifth part is measure and suggestion. That is to give measures and the suggestions from the personal, family and social angle on the basis of the fourth part. On the personal reasons of female crime we can see, body conditions and psychological factors affect female criminals, we certainly can’t change the inherent body conditions of women, so, the author suggest to strengthen psychological prevention of female crime. In the fourth part, we can see the family factors is also important in influencing female crime, therefore, the author puts forward that we should gradually improve the family function. The social factors is the key which affect the behavior of the female crime, the author suggests that the government should pay more the attention to female crime, promote women’s employment, improve the legal consciousness of women, and strengthen the supervision of entertainment places, at last, the most important is to perfect the institutions of legislative, judicial, and execution, only by this can we ultimately reduce female crime effectively.The control and prevention of female crime is a long-term and arduous task. I hope the whole society can give more respect, care and understanding to women, so the women can feel warm, so that the occurrence of female crime can be prevented and reduced.
