Lei Feng’s Spirit In The New Period Of Time Value Exploration

Lei feng is the Chinese national advanced character and spiritual model in the socialist period, and the Lei Feng spirit is constantly enriched and endowed with times connotation unceasingly in the process of practicing the socialist core value system. It takes scientific truth as the ideological guide, love to party, motherland and socialism as the basic position, serving the people heart and soul as the value of life, fulfilling their obligations and duties as the code of conduct. The Lei Feng spirit is not only a vivid embodiment of socialist core value system, but also the inheritance of the Chinese national traditional virtues. It is the spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation, and has become a banner of influencing the social people and leading the morality. The Lei Feng spirit is of extraordinary sophistication and strong vitality. Deeply understanding and vigorously carrying forward the Lei Feng spirit, will certainly promote the construction of the socialist core value system, consolidate its guiding position, enrich its scientific connotation, improve its education function, and promote the popularity of the socialist core value system.The study of the Lei Feng spirit in this article is based on collecting, analyzing, summarizing the research findings about it in recent50years and explores its contemporary value under the unique perspective of socialist core value system. The full article is divided into six parts:the first part is the introduction which discussed the reason and significance of this article writing, and the research status, ideas and methods; the second part of the social systematically expounded the historical conditions and the basic connotation of the Lei Feng spirit; the third part elaborated the connotation of the socialist core value system and the organic unity relations with the Lei Feng spirit emphasisly; the fourth part is the main part of this paper which interpreted its position and role in the socialist core value system based on a new angle of view; the fifth part detailed the value of times of the spirit in the new period; the last part analyzed several hot issues occurred contemporarily during the process of learning and carrying forward the spirit, so that to better understand the Lei Feng spirit and its contemporary value.
