The Patriotism Of Our People On Rationalism And Irrationalism

The paper begins with the Sino-Japanese dispute over the Diaoyu Islands,selects the philosophical conception of rationalism and irrationalism as thepoint of contact, and takes the patriotism of our people as the studycontent.Though analyzing and referencing predecessors’ theoretical resultsabout the study on patriotism, rationalism and irrationalism and their mutualrelations, and Sion-Japan Diaoyu Islands Dispute, the author combinespatriotism with rationalism and irrationalism, according to the theory of theMarxism on rationalism and irrationalism and the view of unity of knowledgeand practice, trying to explain the necessity of combing patriotism withrationalism and irrationalism under the circumstances of Sion-Japan DiaoyuIslands Dispute, which can inspire us to think of how to develop thepatriotism of our people properly under the circumstances of Sion-JapanDiaoyu Islands Dispute.The focal point and difficulty of this paper is how tograsp the relationship between rational and irrational patriotism underrationalism and irrationalism, and investigate it in the context of Sion-JapanDiaoyu Islands dispute.Patriotism is both a behavior guided by people’sideology and a fine tradition of the Chinese nation, while the Sino-Japanesedispute over the Diaoyu Islands as Chinese today’s hot issues that whether canbe resolved smoothly is closely related to how to carry forward our Chinesepeople’s patriotism in such complex environment. Rationalism andirrationalism as a pair concept of philosophy, have a direct relationship withthe formation and practice of patriotism. Therefore, from the rational andirrational philosophical perspective, the author try to examine how the peoplein our country promote their patriotism under the Sino-Japanese dispute overthe Diaoyu Islands. Through the study of rational and irrational patriotism ofour people in the context of the Sino-Japanese dispute over the DiaoyuIslands, we can not only realize and understand how to properly promote thepatriotism of our people, and more importantly, the paper aims to make people aware of the necessity and importance to actively promote thepatriotism under today’s circumstance of the Sino-Japanese dispute over theDiaoyu Islands.
