Study Of Contemporary Chinese Public Figures’ Political Participation

Since political participation enters our country in the1990’s, it promotes thedevelopment of contemporary Chinese politics. Initial public figures are widely used inthe field of law, then introduced field of journalism and politics. Public figures becomean important force in building socialism with Chinese characteristics by their ownparticularity to. In the current construction of democracy, rule of law societyenvironment, one content is to increase social strata and all areas of politicalparticipation, public figures should be taken seriously because of its extensiveinfluence, expand public figures, political participation is imperative.This paper, based on facts, based on China’s national conditions. Analysing thepublic figures, political participation in contemporary China, comparing to thedomestic and foreign public figures, political participation practice, putting forward totreasonable Suggestions for the future in public figure’s political participation in China.Paper consists of introduction, text and conclusion four parts, the content of the textmainly has four parts:First, interprets the concept of political participation, the participates body andcontent of Marxism’s concept of political participation, then introduces the meaning ofpublic figures and particularity, last summarized the meaning of public figure’s politicalparticipation and far-reaching significance. This part is the introduction to relevanttheory, theoretical premise for the below. In the second place, from two aspects toexplain the public figures in the form of political participation, the formal politicalparticipation and informal one. Then making objective evaluation of the two kinds offorms. At last mentioned political indifference, is the extreme form of politicalparticipation, this paper also analyzes the causes and effects. Third, comparing thepresent situation of the political participation practices with domestic and foreignpublic figure, objective evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages then getsenlightenment. This part is the focus of this article and innovation points. Fourth,through four aspects d iscusses how to expand the political participation： constructingpublic figures political participation political culture atmosphere, cultivating publicfigures political participation literacy and ability, promoting the institutionalization of political participation of the public figures, then procedural and standardized andpromote public figures political participation under the rule of law.
