The Connection Of Normal Space And Abnormal Space

The prison is always considered as a mysterious space, which people cannot touch easily. In this abnormal space, there are also prison guards, who are monitoring and managing prisoners, and in the meantime responsible for the discipline maintaining. In the development of Chinese prison, in the early age, the living condition in prison was tough, for it located in the remote area. In order to make prisoners improve smoothly, and give prison guards normal work and life, Chinese prison is accompanied by a factory and a little community, and therefore a small society has been formed. With the economic growth and the specialized funding, the original factory and community is gradually diminished. The former factory is separated from prison, while the former small society has entered into the surrounding communities gradually.This essay uses the prison guard group in Prison S of Yunnan province as the study subject, and based on organize the space change for the past50years of Prison S, try to discuss the influence of space on prison guard group, vice versa. From the angle of space, Prison S is a prototype of abnormal space at first, afterwards divided into two spaces, the monitored area and the living area, the former is the typical abnormal space, the latter starts to transit to the normal space and finally becomes the normal space. From the angle of prison guard group, in the early age of prototype abnormal space, prison guard group prompts the labor camp, which is the prototype of abnormal space, to be closed. After the abnormal space appeared, prison guard group is responsible for keep the spatial rules of order. Then, when the community attached to the prison start to collapse, prison guard group accelerates the change from transitional space into normal space. Later, when the community attached to the prison is totally collapsed and become a normal space, prison guard group protect the new space from being swallowed by the outer space.
