With the rapid development of today’s globalization process, a series of globaltheoretical and practical issues appeared in different degreed in various countries andvarious fields."Globalization" has become an inevitable trend of human future, and theresearch on it has become one of the most popular topics of international public opinionand academia.Although Marx never explicitly raised the word "globalization",in themid-19th century,on their summary and conclusion about the evolving world trade andthe world market, Marx and Engels proposed "world history","world market","worldtrade" and other concepts, with their insight into the development of Globalization, theyhave made profound exposition on the Globalization issues.Therefore, we not only needto generally described and instructed Marx’s thought of globalization, but also need toexplore the intrinsic characteristics of the development process and the nature of Marx’sthought of globalization.Based on the combination of text study and the reality, we will analyze the issue ofglobalization in this paper and do some research on its formation and development,standing on the perspective of dialectical and historical materialism. We will researchinto Marx’s theory vision from the knowledge and practice of globalization, and willsummarize the basic content of Marx’s thought of globalization and its essence andcharacteristics,with the purpose to inspirit reasonable guide of globalization process,especially the globalization process of China.Meanwhile, we will reveal thecontemporary value of globalization, doing specific analysis on major theoretical andpractical issues,combined with the contemporary practice of globalization,so as tomake some principle advice of social development in China.
