The Contemporary Enlightenment Of Lenin’s Thoughts Of Ruling Party Construction

Lenin was a great proletarian revolutionary leader and also an outstanding Marxist. Heintegrated the Marxist theory with actual Russia conditions, forming a new ruling partyconstruction theory which was suitable for the situation of Russia, which refreshed theMarxist theory of governing. The first socialist country in world history was successfullyestablished under his leadership. His ruling party construction thought, which isthought-loaded, has great reference value. Although times have changed, and the currenthistorical environment and historical background that our party facing is different fromLenin’s ruling period, Lenin’s thought about the ruling party construction still has a veryimportant guiding significance to the construction of our ruling party.This paper starts from the research of the background of Lenin’s thought about the rulingparty construction, and states the theory background by researching the thought of Marx,Engels and Plekhanov and others, and shows the practice background of Lenin’s thoughtabout the ruling party by researching Marx and Engels’s revolutionary practice. The contentand characteristics of Lenin’s thought about the ruling party are further summarized byreading relevant books by Lenin and related research achievements by other scholars.
